Natural gas generator set is a natural gas - fueled generator set. The main combustible component of natural gas is methane CH4, and a small amount of ethane, propane and butane, as well as a small amount of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water gas, and a small amount of carbon monoxide and trace of rare gases, such as helium and argon. The concentration of methane is generally 70% to 97%. Natural gas is mainly produced from natural gas well or oil associated gas after light hydrocarbon recovery process tail gas. Using natural gas as energy can reduce the consumption of coal and oil and improve environmental pollution. As a kind of clean energy, natural gas can reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide and dust by nearly 100%, reduce the emission of carbon dioxide by 60% and nitrogen oxide by 50%, and help to reduce the formation of acid rain, relieve the earth's greenhouse effect, and fundamentally improve the environmental quality.

Natural gas generating sets are mainly used for gas fields with natural gas resources, light hydrocarbon recovery enterprises and enterprises that can obtain the right to use natural gas along the natural gas pipeline.

Quality requirements for natural gas:

Within 1 meter of the unit inlet pressure regulating valve

①　Gas temperature ≤40℃

②　Inlet pressure 0.5-15kpa

③　Pressure change rate ≤1kpa/min

④　The methane content shall not be less than 80%, and the change rate shall be less than 2%/min

⑤　H2S acuities were 20 mg/Nm3

⑥　Impurity size ≤5um

⑦　Impurity content ≤30mg/Nm3

⑧　Moisture content ≤20mg/Nm3

Natural gas should be treated without free water to remove crude oil and light oil
